• Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
• Age verification status: a confirmation that you have attested you are 21 years of age or older, stored as described in Section 4 below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process, fulfill, and ship orders, and communicate with you about your orders;
• Verify age eligibility and enforce our research-use-only sales policy;
• Respond to support requests, including Certificate of Analysis (COA) requests submitted through the Verification Center;
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Site and prevent fraud;
• Improve our products, website, and customer experience; and
• Comply with legal obligations, including tax, customs, and recordkeeping requirements.

We do not use your personal information to make any medical or health-related claims, and we do not sell our products for human consumption.

We process personal information to perform our contract with you (fulfilling orders), to comply with legal obligations, and based on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before sending marketing communications, and you may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those messages.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and improve your experience:

• Age verification cookie: when you confirm you are 21 or older at the entrance gate, we set a cookie that remembers this confirmation for 30 days so you are not re-prompted on every visit. No personal information is stored in this cookie beyond the verification timestamp.

• Analytics cookies: help us understand aggregate site usage so we can improve performance and content.

• Independent lab testing partners who perform batch testing never receive any customer-identifying information at all. Lab testing is performed on production batches, not on customer orders, so testing partners have no access to customer names, addresses, or order data.
• Service providers such as hosting, email delivery, and analytics platforms, bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PolarLabs, our customers, or others.

6. Data Retention

We retain order and account information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
